Founded in 2017, Homycat was born from the mixture of several of the passions of Mathilde Blanche, founder of the brand: design, cats and entrepreneurship!

“When I moved into my new apartment with my cat Nouméa, I realized that the scratching posts and games for cats were functional but really not aesthetic,” she often tells us.

She realized that she was far from being the only cat owner to be faced with this type of problem and launched a long study with hundreds of cat owners to confirm her intuition.

Result: 13 million cats in France and 86% of those surveyed who believe that it is important that their cat’s accessories and furniture fit into their decoration. There was no longer any doubt, Homycat had to be launched!
