The difference between an assault course and a parkour course is the spacing between the wall-mounted steps or the spacing between various items of furniture in a playroom.
It requires more athleticism on the cats part to get from one ledge or apparatus to another.
Cats though are very versatile animals and will climb almost anything.
But alongside items such as wall-mounted furniture one can create a parkour environment by using living room furniture and furnishings that one would normally see in a liveable space for humans. Cats are able to easily adapt to the items that humans have already in their home or apartment.
